Aquarela is an independent studio based in Milan producing authorial and artistic content for cinema, brand and organization.

Jacopo Marzi




Film Director




Jacopo Marzi is a film director, in 2021 he directed two short documentaries: one with National Geographic and the other with WeWorld Onlus and Canon Italy.

His first feature film, HYMN FOR THE HIVE had its world premiere in 2021 at the Astra Film Festival. With his films have been invited in the official selection of important international film festivals such as ZagrebDox and Trento Film Festival. In 2020 he has been European talent of the prestigious BDC Discoveries programme.

He is lecturer of Video Strategy at IED Milan and with his team he has been creating branded content since 2017. He worked for Sky Italy as an editor and director.





Davide Bertuccio




Photographer & Cinematographer




Davide is a photojournalist and a documentary cinematographer based in Milan. In 2022 was selected for Eddie Adams Workshop XXXV, in New York, and since 2021 he is a lecturer of photojournalism at IED Milan. 
His work focuses on authorial research that deeply analyzes changes in what surrounds us, ranging from issues related to globalization to themes concerning the environment and adaptation of the human condition. 
One of his photos was selected by National Geographic among the 10 iconic photos of 2020 and in 2021 was nominated as Newcomer at Leica Oskar Barnack Award. His work, published by major publications, has received national and international awards, being exhibited at numerous festivals around the world.





Niccolò Ferrari




Strategist




Natural Born Communicator with experience in project and people management. Living in Milan, he has a past as communication coordinator in the fashion industry, as well as in sport events organization.

In 2019 he co-founded Borderless Collective, a community of creative people with the purpose of creating professional networks and deliver project for brands, companies and institutions.

Currently working as communication strategist for several brands and projects, he collaborates also with Schools and Universities (IED in Milan and Moodart in Verona).Podcaster by passion (and sometimes by work), he believes that telling stories is the most valuable way to create a positive impact.
